Weekly Bulletin - June 20, 2025

Dear Eagle Families,

As I look back on the school year at Don Ross, I am filled with pride at the growth, learning, and resilience shown by students and staff. This year brought many opportunities to challenge ourselves, build connections, and celebrate successes big and small. From classroom learning to outdoor adventures, schoolwide events, and everyday moments, it’s been a beautiful year. Thank you for being part of this and for your continued support for Don Ross.

As we wrap up another school year, we want to take a moment to say thank you for all the support for our Grade 9 Farewell. From food contributions to setup and clean-up, your help made this event such a beautiful send-off for our students. We couldn’t have done it without you! I would also like to extend our congratulations to all of our award recipients. Their hard work, leadership, and dedication to learning have been inspiring to their peers and staff alike. We’re all so proud of all our students.

With the first official day of summer, I hope you will soon find some time to rest (I know we are ready here!), recharge, and enjoy the sunshine.

Graham

🌸 Spring Athletics - Athletics – Departments & Programs

  • We are excited to be offering a Don Ross Soccer Academy next school year (2025/2026).

THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS TUESDAY JUNE 24 AT 10AM.

The Soccer Academy will be open to Grade 8 and 9 students attending Don Ross starting in September. We will run 2 sessions a week from 1-3 pm (start time might change to accommodate the bus schedule) at Brennan Park Turf field. The students will be responsible for getting themselves to and from the field. We are hoping to alternate days for the academy so the students aren't missing the same classes every week, eg. Monday and Wednesday the first week and Tuesday and Thursday the next week. All students in the soccer academy will receive a soccer kit to wear when attending the sessions.

Below is a pre-registration link, if you would like your child to attend the soccer academy please pre-register. Once we have an idea of the numbers we will send out a final registration with the cost attached.
